Awakening Challenge
There is a weariness, a lethargy, and a resignation in the air. People everywhere, after months of uncertainty, fear, and conflict are becoming depleted and depressed; resigning themselves to the way things are and shutting down emotionally, relationally, and even spiritually.
This is what the Lord says, “I am coming to awaken my people. Morning by morning expect to be awakened.” Morning by morning He awakens; He awakens my ear to hear as those who are taught. The Lord GOD has opened my ear, and I was not rebellious; I turned not backward…(Isaiah 50:4-5 ESV)
It is a scheme of the enemy to keep the church immobilized and to keep God’s people from being ready to advance and thrive in the new era. It is not time to shrink back. It is not time to fear. It is not time to give in to resignation. It is not time to turn back.
